What People Are Saying
Past Retreat Reviews
“I had a magical experience on Megan’s Hawaii retreat.
I had not been on a retreat in many years and was nervous going into that I would be the least experienced of the group and not be able to fit in - but I decided to sign up because something kept itching at me that I might be missing something wonderful. As soon as I arrived: Megan greeted me with a big smile and laughter and all of those fears subsided and it was the best few days of my life. Megan did such an incredible job thinking through every little detail of the experience: the delicious home-cooked meals, the simple, accessible explanations of how I could incorporate the practice into my life - and her ability to teach yoga is just unbelievable. Every yoga class I felt myself grounding more and more and Megan’s incredible kindness and soothing voice were there to guide me along the way. Megan is my #1 teacher: who just guides me with such care, gentleness and thoughtfulness while grounded in the context of many years of deep practice, I would love to attend all of Megan's retreats and experiences in the future!”

“The Energy Alchemy Retreat in Kauai was genuinely one of the best retreats and trips of my life. I went in January, and even while I was there I remember thinking, this is the best possible way I could have started the year.
I’ve been practicing yoga and meditation with Megan for a couple of years now, and what makes her such a special teacher is the combination of depth and joy she brings to everything she does. She has a real foundation in Tibetan Buddhism, meditation, and yoga, but she has this incredible ability to share those teachings in a way that feels accessible, relevant, and completely alive. More than anything, when I think of Megan, I think of pure fun, enjoyment, joy, and bliss.
There are moments from the retreat that I know I’ll remember forever. After one yoga class out on the deck, the collective energy had reached such an incredible peak that we all spontaneously jumped into the pool fully dressed in our yoga clothes. It was this hilarious, beautiful moment of collective euphoria and connection.
Another day, we were driving through Kauai in a Jeep with the windows down, music playing, completely absorbed in how beautiful life felt. Megan turned around and said something like, “Feel the texture of this moment. Feel what your body feels like right now. Remember this feeling, so you can access it again.” That has stayed with me ever since. I still find myself remembering that moment and that particular feeling of being completely present, open, and grateful to be alive.
And then there was everything surrounding the practice: Kauai itself, the beautiful house, the incredible organic food, the care Megan put into every detail, and how thoughtfully the whole experience was organized. Everything felt intentional without ever feeling rigid.
What I loved most, though, was who I got to be while I was there. I didn’t just feel like myself on this retreat. I felt like the highest expression of myself: present, joyful, connected, adventurous, and deeply appreciative of life.
Megan created such an amazing space for all of that. I came home with memories from one of the most beautiful weeks of my life, but also with feelings and moments I can still access months later.
Probably my highest recommendation is that almost every time I see Megan, I ask her when we’re going back to Hawai’i next January. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat...”
— Male, NYC “I have been practicing with Megan for a little over a year and her classes are unparalleled to the hundreds of others I’ve had in New York.
When Megan announced her retreat in Hawaii, there was no question that I would attend. Her caliber of hospitality matches that of the luxury hotel we dined at our final night in Kauai. The schedule was impactful and still left so much time for exploring and integration. Megan executed this retreat with so much grace and I can’t wait for the next one. 🌺”
